What's New for 2018?

A new assortment of standard features helps the stunningly crafted new 2018 Murano stand out in a crowded crossover class. These include standard forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking and navigation. Some other options and features in higher trims have been reorganized to make it easier to pick out the right Murano edition here in the Gastonia, Statesville and Hickory area.

2018 Nissan Murano Performance and Capabilities

All four available trim levels of the new Murano feature a strong and sensible 3.5-liter V-6 that delivers 260 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque. That leads to capable and sensible driving around the Mooresville and Matthews areas, ideal for family travels or solo commuting. You can add AWD to the mix if you find yourself off the beaten path often, but you'll find the standard FWD setup is ideal for keeping your fuel economy at its highest, and we don't typically experience much snow and ice on the roads here in the Lake Norman area.

2018 Nissan Murano Exterior and Interior

The unique styling of the Murano is one of the more noticeable qualities of this crossover, which makes sense since it really pops at first glance. The curved lines and intricately styled roof line give the Murano a look unlike any other crossover in its class. In the next trim up from the base level, you'll add roof rails and foglights to the standard offerings of LED running lights and the 18-inch alloy wheels you'll find with the Murano.

Inside, the Murano is spacious and smartly designed. The use of high-end materials gives the Murano a far more upscale feel than what its cost would suggest, while the front seats are remarkably comfortable, even for a vehicle of this size. Perhaps most important is how easy it is for the driver to access the standard and available infotainment features, primarily controlled through the standard 8-inch touchscreen.

2018 Nissan Murano Technology and Safety

Like other new Nissan models found here in the Concord and Charlotte area, the new Murano is loaded with standard and available features. Along with the touchscreen and the new standard features mentioned above, the base level includes keyless ignition and entry, Bluetooth, smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and plenty of high-end entertainment systems. Moving up to higher trims will add upgraded audio equipment and more amenities like heated and ventilated seats, a sunroof, upgraded upholstery and much more.

Beyond the standard forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking system, the Murano has some more driver aids available in higher trims. You can add adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree parking camera system and a drowsy driver warning system, among others.

Right from the first time you lay your eyes on it, the new 2018 Nissan Murano tells you it isn't like other crossovers. Find the perfect setup by making your way over to Modern Nissan of Lake Norman today and we'll go over your new Murano leasing or financing options.
